What's New
Changes since version 2.0 of this guide.
Upload Manager
- Status Tracker replaces Status History. It shows where an upload is, phase by phase, and under Load into OTM one line per OTM table with its batches, loaded and rejected counts. See Upload Manager.
- Failed batches are named, with the reason, in the tracker and the completion email.
- Revalidate and Reprocess in View Source run a file again - unchanged, or edited as a new upload - until someone approves it.
- Execute Now and Cancel on Staged rows.
- Report an Incident for the selected row.
- Approve unlocks once the approver ticks I've reviewed the data in this file in View Source.
Template Manager
- A new Access panel holds Assignees, Approvals and Notification Emails, kept apart from Settings. See Template Manager.
- Every section is read-only until you click Edit, then Apply or Cancel.
- Reset to defaults asks first, and resets only the panel you are in.
- Who gets which email - choose, per email, whether approvers, the uploader and the extra list receive it.
GoRate Setting
- Execution Time - uploads approved during business hours are held, then all released at this time. See GoRate Setting.
- The failure threshold is set here, per project, as a percentage.
Loading into OTM
- A file is Completed if anything loaded. It is Failed only when nothing reached OTM.
- A batch the integration does not accept is tried three times, then recorded as failed - never dropped silently. See Publishing to OTM.
- Rate Geo loads in batches of 2,000 records.
- One upload per project loads at a time - rates, capacity, commitments and allocations all share the queue.
Emails
- The skipped records come as a workbook and a text file grouped by reason.
- The completion email's outcome comes as a workbook and a text file.
- Rate expiries have their own row, RATE_GEO (expiry).
- Recipients follow the template's routing grid. See Emails.
