GoRate
GoRate turns rate workbooks into approved, OTM-published rates. You upload a CSV or Excel file, the system validates it twice, your approvers sign off, and the rates land in OTM - all from one workspace, with a complete audit trail.
The end-to-end flow
Upload -> Pre-Validation -> Validation vs OTM -> Approval -> Load into OTM -> Finished
(in your browser) (against live OTM) (queued, or held
for business hours)
At every step the upload has one status in Upload Manager, and its Status Tracker shows exactly where it is and what it is waiting on.
| Outcome | When |
|---|---|
| Completed | At least one record loaded into OTM. Anything skipped or rejected is listed in the completion email |
| Validation Rejected | Validation against OTM blocked the file |
| Approval Rejected | An approver rejected it, with a comment |
| Failed | Nothing reached OTM, or an unexpected error stopped the run |
| Cancelled | The uploader withdrew it before it reached OTM |
Who this is for
- Rate uploaders / analysts - prepare and upload workbooks, fix validation issues, track files.
- Approvers - review extracted records, compare against active OTM rates, approve or reject.
- Administrators - set up templates, approvers, emails, the OTM adapter and business hours.
What GoRate handles
The same flow covers four record types. Your template decides which one a file carries.
| Type | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Rates | Rate geos with their charges, weight breaks and references |
| Capacity Limits | Capacity per lane and period |
| Commitments | Volume commitments per carrier |
| Allocations | Splits of a commitment across carriers |
