Statuses
Every status an upload can show in Upload Manager, what it means, and whether anything has reached OTM yet. The row's Status Tracker shows the same thing as phases, with the detail under each.
The dotted paths are the ones that stop. Nothing reaches OTM before Processing - Queued, Queued for OTM and Staged are all still waiting.
Getting started

Loading into OTM

| Queued for OTM | Approved and waiting its turn. Nothing has been sent to OTM yet - only one upload per project loads at a time |
| Staged | Approved during the project's business hours, or at any time under Execution Time Only, and held. Released at the Execution Time set on GoRate Setting, or straight away with Execute Now |

Finished
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Completed | At least one record loaded into OTM. Others may have been skipped or rejected by OTM; the completion email gives the exact split |
| Warning | Nothing was sent. Validation skipped every record, so there was nothing left to load and no approval was sought - the records it skipped are already in OTM |
| Validation Rejected | Validation blocked the file |
| Approval Rejected | An approver rejected it, with a comment |
| Failed | No record reached OTM, or an unexpected error stopped the run |
| Cancelled | Withdrawn before anything reached OTM |
A file is Completed as soon as anything in it loads - even if most of it was rejected. It is Failed only when nothing reached OTM and the run itself went wrong.
A file whose records were all skipped at validation finishes as Warning, not Completed. Nothing went wrong - the records were skipped because they are already in OTM, so the file asked for no change and got none. It is called out separately so a load that sent nothing cannot be mistaken at a glance for one that sent everything. The completion email and the Status Tracker say exactly what did and did not load.
Queued vs. Processing
This is the distinction people most often misread.
Queued, Queued for OTM and Staged all mean nothing has been sent to OTM. Only Processing means data is actually going in.
A file can sit at Queued for OTM for a while on a busy day. That is normal and needs no action.
